How many people does Illalangi sleep?
The cottage sleeps up to 6 guests across three bedrooms — a king/queen bedroom, a second queen bedroom with a brass bed, and a bunk room with a twin bunk. It's one self-contained house, exclusively yours.
What are the check-in and checkout times?
Check-in is from 2:00 PM and checkout is by 10:00 AM. If the cottage is ready early on your arrival day we'll message you — when it's ready, it's ready.
Is Illalangi pet-friendly?
Yes, pets are welcome by prior arrangement — just tick the pet option when booking or let us know. A small pet fee applies.
Does the cottage have heating and a fireplace?
Yes — a slow-combustion wood fire in the lounge (wood supplied), plus heating throughout. There's also an outdoor firepit in the garden. Blackheath winters are magical by the fire.
How far is it to Blackheath village and the train station?
About a ten-minute stroll to the village cafés, restaurants and shops, and around ten minutes' walk to Blackheath station on the Blue Mountains line.
Is there a cot or high chair for babies?
Yes, a cot is available on request — mention it when booking and we'll have it set up for your arrival.
